Hangar

Hangar is a large enclosed structure used for housing, maintaining, and repairing aircraft. Hangars range from small single-aircraft shelters at GA airports to massive facilities capable of holding multiple widebody aircraft simultaneously.

Types include T-hangars (individual bays for small aircraft), corporate hangars, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) hangars, and airline base maintenance hangars. Modern MRO hangars can span over 100 meters wide with column-free interiors to accommodate aircraft like the A380.
