EASA

EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) is the EU agency responsible for civil aviation safety regulation. Based in Cologne, Germany, EASA develops common safety rules, certifies aircraft and components, and oversees aviation organizations across EU member states.

EASA regulations cover airworthiness, flight crew licensing, air operations, aerodromes, and air traffic management. Its certification standards (CS series) are recognized worldwide.
