CDL

CDL (Configuration Deviation List) is a document that lists external parts of an aircraft (such as fairings, access panels, or small aerodynamic devices) that may be missing without affecting airworthiness, provided certain conditions or performance penalties are observed.

The CDL is part of the aircraft documentation approved by the manufacturer and the certifying authority. It differs from the MEL, which covers system and equipment items rather than external components.
